Swiss Virtual Business School (SwissVBS) has been enabling organizational change through applied learning solutions since 2001. It was founded by professors from the University of St.Gallen located in northeastern Switzerland. It's first product was a twenty-hour online module in strategic management which proved to be highly successful with executive managers. Soon after, curriculum development in the areas of finance, accounting, and marketing evolved to university certification programs with a blending learning approach. The highly effective educational processes created by SwissVBS were then applied to the business world for financial organizations such as Allianz and World Economic Forum. The success of its management education and customized solutions gave way to expansion into North America with a production facility located in Toronto, Canada. SwissVBS has accumulated knowledge and expertise in the sectors of banking, insurance, healthcare, and compliance training. The founding professors still serve as members of the Board of Directors and regularly engage other highly respected professors from Wharton School of Business, INSEAD, and University of St.Gallen in the further developing Swiss Virtual Business School.
